Haven't posted in a while. Having two kids one age 2 and one 4 and a bit hasn't allowed Isaac to play more piano as they both want to have a go at it.
Anyway, I have only managed to capture Isaac playing Hanon #1.
His finger strength has improved since the Butterfly Ball.
He has also been practising:
1. Symphony No. 5 by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
P3 R 48/48 T57 with picture notes.
L 41/42 T55
2. Surprise Symphony P1 67/67 T52
3. Pop goes the weasel P1 95/ T111
4. Hey diddle diddle P1 56/57 T48
P3 51/57 T 97
5. Three Blind Mice
Alphabet notes - P1 73/75 T71
I have started to ask Isaac to play in presentation 3 and realised that it is harder for him and thus plays slower compared to when he plays in presentation 1.
I will try to get him to play the songs this week and capture it on video now that I get one on one time with him.
We have also been listening to some classical music:
1.Beethoven's Symphony No.5
2. Jesu, joy of man's desiring ( we are learning this song too)
As his scores hasn't improved much due to the difficulty of the pieces, we have just been practising over and over again and haven't added much new songs.
Also I can't get a video of him playing guess key as something in the software just triggers his anxiety.
But thankful for this program as it allows him to learn to play the piano in a fun way.
