I have the Casio CTK-3200 and there is a 0.5 second delay before the sofware detects it being played. This happens in garage band as well. How do I configure it to be more real time?

Is your cable IN and OUT or USB to USB?

If IN and OUT, you need a good brand cable. If you have one, please, visit their website and download the drivers for your OS

If the cable is USB to USB, visit the Casio website and download the current for your OS driver there,

Sometimes USB to USB cables should be switched for another 'till they work properly. They are cheap and not reliable.
