I will try to explain everything to you, 'cause we are just trying to assemble everything together and some of our offering may seem to be confusing:

Thank you for all the information.

`Pay 6 months fees or get perpetual copy of the software in 6 months with $49.00 discount` I dont quite understand this. Does it means, i pay a 6 month fee now, and later on i get a $49 discount when i purchase the perpectual package?

Yes

How do i entitle for the 50% off scholarship? Actuallly all this while i was waiting for LMs by BK. They promised by end of yr 2010, but up to now, still no news. I m still wondering what is the difference between SM and LMs .

Since our program is new to the market and it is mostly getting promoted through the word of mouth, we want you and other learners to spread good news about us.

This is why we offer 50% off the price of perpetual copy for people, who share their learning experience here, on the forum and on other Internet social places.

To decide, who is perfect candidate for this we have to create parents' committee. There are going to be 5 or 7 people and we will vote for this.

Don't ask me about the committee just yet, though. We'll get it formed in beginning of February. But we already set the date for our music exams and piano recitals for May 15 - 31.

I don't know much about the LR, but I saw Sonya's baby reading words and it is AMAZING! If it is how LR works, it is great to my opinion...

You see, 'discounts' and all other commercial games have a price tag on them. But we have to concentrate on outcome. If it is priceless, couple of dollars + or - is nothing compare to that.

We are planning to have 2 recitals per year: one for Christmas and 1 for graduation.

Now we are working on the preparation to May recital. You will be able to participate, if will get the program the sooner the better. It sounds fantastic, but you will learn pretty fast.

Here is the requirements for the recital:

From what I have read about little music and my hands on experience with soft Mozart, they really are NOT the same thing. They overlap in places. Both teach solfege, music alphabet, notes and note placement. Both are capable of teaching perfect pitch. The big difference is soft Mozart teaches tiny kids how to play piano! Little music will teach them all about music but not how to play an instrument. Both programs will compliment each other beautifully but only one will save you a fortune in music lessons as your kids grow up! ;) if I had to choose I would use little music until my kiddies are 2-3 and soft Mozart if they are old enough to follow simple directions and press the keys you tell them to press ( around 2 or 3 depending on the kid.) also most important soft Mozart is available NOW little music is still in the pipeline and your children are growing up fast!

Manda is right. these programs are NOT the same thing. Little Music will be set up on the same format as Little Reader. Which, if you think about it, is really a glorified power point presentation. It is, by nature, designed to teach the right side of the brain. Soft Mozart, while it teaches music, and piano playing as Manda said, uses a whole brain approach. That is important, because as your children get older, all learning cannot come through right brain education only. Soft Mozart will outlast Little Music and is able to teach way more than Little Music. That doesn't mean we won't get Little Music when it comes out, it just means that you aren't talking about the same thing at all.

There are games (but it is really learning disguised as a game) that will teach your fingers and muscles, not just your brain; note duration, placement of keys on the keyboard, how to make your right and left hand do separate things. And, as Manda said, we don't know when Little Music is coming out. I am still waiting for the upgrade to LIttle Reader, which I haven't heard anything about.

That is my 2 cents worth of opinion. I don't htink you will be disappointed with Soft Mozart. It is not as intuitive as Little Reader, but the learning curve is very short.

Hellene, if you notice, she is talking about LM. LM stands for Little Music, which is a program Brillkids has in the works. Brillkids has 2 programs right now, Little Math, Little Reader and is working on Little Music. Sorry to make it so confusing.
