To give more of our talented students and participants the opportunity to shine, we are thrilled to announce that the Butterfly Ball - 2025 recital has been extended until February 1, 2025!
We are finally set up in our new home again and have again started back his music lessons. We plan on staying here for a few years so hopefully we can be a bit more consistent with music lessons.

This month the sun has been shining so the boys have been playing outside more often. We have been experimenting with different lesson times but overall it was a good productive month and Cooper is enjoying learning new songs.

In April we will learn the chromatic scale.
Could you please tell me
- What list should we work through next?
- Do we stay playing on screen 1?
Danielle,
I see very good and steady progress: Cooper developed outstanding for his age attention span, eye-hand and both hands coordination and fine motor skills.
Yes, we have to move on in 2 different direction.
1. Sight-reading. I think, he is ready to start music notes on level 2, 4, 5 and 6. For that take the Nursery Primer and Fav. Classics Primer and ask him to sight-read R, L and P. Don't play anything more then twice (we don't want him to pretend reading). Compare the numbers. Play the entire Album this way to gain quantity of materials that had been read.
If he is going to have difficulties playing on 2 without pictures, play prep game by pressing a key and ask him to say, what line or space is it,
2. Polishing the learned pieces.
Ask Cooper to play RH,LH and PH of the pieces that he learned. When he memorized them, use my TEACHING VIDEOS and ask him to play synchronically with my playing

You may start with one hand at a time
