Philip - His Progress Begins

We had a good start last fall for Philip and then he quit on me. We placed the keyboard in a back room so he wasn't as inclined to play as it wasn't in front of him anymore. We has the wonderful video of him playing and then we just had banging. I was a bit frustrated but kept using Little Musician and he kept watching Cayla play. We moved the keyboard back into the living area right after Christmas and since he has been doing much better. But his attention span has increased for all sorts of things. Part of this is just maturity.

He is now practicing SM a couple times a day from 5-10 minutes at a time.
This week his numbers were:

Monday: HCB RH 11/15, 10/23, 11/18
Guess Key 9/104 10/113 6/95

Tuesday: HCB RH 13/16, 15/15, 15/13
Guess Key 13/102 22/114 18/100

Wednesday: HCB RH 15/14 15/13 14/18
Guess Key 14/99 16/102

Thursday: HCB 15/12 15/13 15/13
Guess Key 23/100 20/104

I didn't write down Friday's scores but they were similar to last Thursday.
We are only doing HCB because I pulled all the stickers off the keyboard for Cayla. I am about ready to print some more and put them back on. We also started working on hanon using one finger only. Also, he has just started the mama/papa routine on just C & D to get used to it.

I was starting to think he would never play.......ahhh.
