Here is what he's doing in another day, July 30th 2013:
I've seen one thing with him: he memorises a song very well and when he's trying to play from memory sometimes you get the feeling he got the rhythm or note duration. But when he has to play with the software he realises is not that easy nor that fast or that slow And he has to pay attention ad he's repeating the same part many times at will. I ask him if he wants to play again and I change hand only when I see either he improved his score or it looks like his interest may start to drop down.
Later added: Hellene suggested to show him the teaching videos and let him practice with them. I have tried a bit, and will try again using it, after I download a HQ version of the videos. I am not sure, though, cause he may get frustrated if I take him to this stage when he doesn't play the songs right with the software. I mean he has to practice more with each hand and both hands for his score to be better - these are challenging songs, as Hellene told me, and they are more challenging for a little fellow like him, with a special brain. If he has to do 3 things in the same time - the finger placement and learn to play the song with the rhythm and note duration and syncronise his hands... well... at least 1 of those 3 has to be good to encourage him and maintain his interest - though I may be totally wrong and my child can do more than I know... Will keep you posted. Sometimes I have to forget what I think I know of my child and be curious to find out what he can do.
Alin, that was a good job! It is wonderful to see a small child like you working hard to learn your songs. I enjoyed your video.
Алин, это была хорошая работа! Это замечательно, чтобы увидеть маленького ребенка, как вы упорно трудится, чтобы узнать ваши песни. Я наслаждался вашего видео.

that's right! we think we know what they can or can not do. But at least at times, if not many times, we should let them show us if and what they can. We may be very surprised of the outcome
