Rules for the Butterfly Ball - 2023

1. Attention! This year in our competition we will first of all evaluate your pedagogical abilities .

Learn for yourself and teach your friends, relatives, neighbors to play our exercises and piano pieces.
Put the videos of your "trainees" in your blog.

The more people - children and adults - you will teach, the more chances you will have to become a laureate of our competition.


Who can participate?
Any student of the Soft Mozart Academy or new comer aged 2 years or older.

What pieces to perform?
Any of those that you have learned or read during the semester - with or without the Program.

Children of younger preschool age are allowed to perform pieces with separate hands and play exercises.

Children or/and adults with disabilities perform music with or without the SM program with separate or two hands and can post playing exercises.

Is it necessary to have entries in the topic "Personal Diaries" about the progress diary of the curriculum for the semester to participate in the concert?

Your entries in "Personal Diaries" are not required to participate in the Winter Academic Concert. You can continue to meet all curriculum requirements and record at your own pace to complete your Academic Credit in August-September 2023.

The goal of the "Butterfly Ball" is to inspire as many people as possible with your desire to make music, perform as many pieces as possible and get a butterfly for each piece. The most important task is to enjoy playing music and share the joy of your creativity with others.

Your pupils' performances will count towards the competition in addition to your butterflies.

How many pieces do you need to participate in the concert?

It's totally up to you! As much as you want!

Should all pieces be performed by heart?

No. "Butterfly Ball" is a concert in which it is important to play as many pieces as possible, even imperfect ones. Participation is the most important goal!

Play by heart or from notes?

It is completely your choice!

Attention: !!! dress code for children and adults for recording a performance is festive [/ b]. Boys 'suits and ties, girls' fancy dresses are welcome.

What do you need to participate?

1. Get ready.
2. Make one video for each performance.
3. Videos must be published on your You Tube channel.

Soft Mozart Recital 2022-2023: Child's name * For example Elena Latin (age) plays 'song title' (eg French Song ) by composer name in Latin (eg Tchaikovsky )

In the description on the forum, put the following and only this information:
