General Information
Learn the Soft Mozart exercises and pieces yourself and teach your friends, relatives, and neighbors to play them as well.
Please publish videos of your students on your blog or on your YouTube channel.
Your students should also:
- post videos of their learning process on their own YouTube channel;
- optionally add a short video sharing their impressions of the lessons and the instructor’s work.
Performances by your students are counted
in addition to your own performances.
Students of Academy instructors may use the earned
Butterflies as a
discount toward the purchase of a license in the future.
Who can participate?
- Any Soft Mozart Academy student aged 2 and older who has an active Soft Mozart program license.
- For students of child-instructors within the “Teach Good Things” project, an active license is not required.
What repertoire may be performed?
- Any pieces and exercises you have learned or sight-read during the semester — with or without the Soft Mozart program.
- For younger preschool children, it is allowed to:
- play with separate hands;
- perform exercises.
- Children with special educational needs and adults with special educational needs:
- may play with or without the program;
- may perform with one or two hands;
- may perform exercises.
Are entries in the “Personal Diaries” required?
No.
Keeping records in the
“Personal Diaries” section is
not mandatory for participation in the Winter Academic Concert.
You may continue studying and keeping records
at your own pace in order to complete the curriculum by the
Academic Assessment period in August–September 2025.
The Goal of the “Butterfly Ball” Project
- to involve as many people as possible in active music-making;
- to perform as many pieces as possible;
- to receive one Butterfly for each performed piece, where 1 Butterfly = a 100-ruble discount toward the purchase of the program.
The main purpose of the project is to
experience joy from music and share it with others.
How many pieces should be performed?
The number of pieces is
not limited. You may perform as many pieces as you wish.
Is memorization required?
No.
The “Butterfly Ball” is a participation concert, not a competition.
You may perform:
- from memory;
- using sheet music.
Even imperfect performances are welcome.
Dress Code
The dress code for video recording is
festive.
Welcome attire includes:
- suits and ties for boys;
- festive dresses for girls.
What is required to participate?
- Prepare your performance.
- Record a separate video for each piece in a horizontal format (16:9).
- Publish the videos on your YouTube channel.
YouTube Video Formatting
Video title (must be in Latin characters).
All names and titles must be written in
Latin characters.
The concert has an
international format.
Format:
Soft Mozart Recital 2025–2026: Name (age) plays “title of the piece” by composer’s name
Example:
Soft Mozart Recital 2025–2026: Elena (5) plays “French Song” by Tchaikovsky
Video Description
In the description, please include
only the following information:
- Participant’s name
- When the student started learning music with the Soft Mozart program (___ months / years ago)
- This is the first / second / third performance
- Teacher’s name or home study with mom / dad

How to Create a Forum Post
- Click the NEW TOPIC button:

- In the topic title (Latin characters), indicate:
- participant’s name,
- age,
- country.
- A colorful photo of the participant with the Soft Mozart program or attributes is welcome at the beginning of the post.
- Post one video by copy–pasting it from YouTube.
Under the video, indicate the title of the piece and the composer’s name (Latin characters).
- Add subsequent videos using Quick Reply.
- The final day for publishing videos is January 17, 2025.
- Share the link to your page with friends and acquaintances.
- Watch other participants’ performances and support them with comments.
IMPORTANT!
- Only videos with public access on YouTube are accepted.
- Publishing personal data is prohibited:
last names, addresses, or cities of residence.
Please use only first names or nicknames.
Certificates and Gifts
After the concert, gifts will be sent to participants.
We will additionally request your address and the total number of Butterflies earned.
- Preparation of a certificate and shipment of a physical package — 1000 rubles per participant.
- A digital certificate is provided free of charge.
Bonus
You may record a
video message addressed to all participants of the Butterfly Ball.
For this, Queen Tonic may send:
- an additional Butterfly,
- several Butterflies,
- or a gift.
