Rules for receiving Diplomas and graduation pins/medals

Dear educators, students and parents!

Please read the information on filling out the student’s personal diary to receive a Diploma and an pins/medals.

IMPORTANT! To receive a Diploma and Distinction, you must have a 12-month homework license.

The student’s diary begins with a short story about the student (name, age, student studied music earlier or not, if yes, at what age, how old, how often, etc, teacher's first and last name.).

Indicate what level the student planned to complete.

If this is not the first year of study with the SM program, leave a link to the previous diary for the previous school year in the diary for the current school year.

Everything that is spelled out in the plans of the Soft Mozart Academy should be reflected in the student’s diary in the form of photo and video reports. Each step taken must be documented, which is the basis for obtaining a Diploma of a certain level and medal/pin

So, according to the plans in the diary should be reflected:

- Listening to music and getting acquainted with masterpieces of world classics:
- Video: familiarization with the work - playing the instrument after listening to it (3 videos, the rest are photos of the results)).

- Exercises
The video shows only the final result of all exercises studied at a certain level.

- Sight reading.
Play the entire album, for the report place 4 different pieces in different presentations (4 videos) + the rest of the pieces in the album - photos of the teacher's notes from the diary/notebook - numbers from all presentations P2, P4, P5 and P6 in accordance with the plans.




 

 


- Etudes for the eyes:
* Video of one "line" etude in P2, P4, P5 and P6, the rest of the etudes are screenshots and photos of the results from the notebook/diary.
* Video of one "space" etude in P2, P4, P5 and P6, the rest of the etudes are screenshots and photos of the results from the notebook/diary.

- Solfeggio. Ear development
* Selecting chords: playing with a hidden left hand (LH). Play the entire album during lessons, post 1 video for the report (more if desired). Other songs - screenshots or photos of entries from a diary/notebook in an electronic diary.
* Playing with solfege - Videos of two different songs from the album in P1 and P3 (the rest are photos of the results).
* Playing RH with solfege - One video of any song (the rest are photos of the results).

Working with cards.
* scale - it is enough to show work with one scale - photo or 1 video.
* "girls-boys" cards - photo or 1 video
* cards with notches (pronouncing by notches from C of the first octave and C of the second octave to the note on the card) - 1 video.
* cards without notches - 1 video

- Working with copybooks. Show your work with one sheet (photo or video), for example, the last one, where all the notes are written down, and a TEST (video with the last two lines).

- Musical dictation. Dictations must be written in cursive.
Video - final №7 (test), photo - dictation №1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

- Rhythmic dictation. Video (preferably) or photo.

- Recording a melody from memory.
Video: any one song, preferably "Spring has come", as a final. All other songs - photos.
*Tasks from level 3: 1 video from each album, 3 photos of the final result in C-G-F major and A-E-D minor.
*Tasks from level 4: 1 video from each album + photo of the final result in D, Bb, A, Eb major and H, G, F#, C minor.

- Transposition from each step in a convenient presentation R or P. Video - 3 examples and other compositions - screenshots or photo entries from a diary/notebook in an electronic diary.

- Training games. Results of 6 games with the appropriate level of time. Photos/screenshots/videos.

- Musical alphabet: 1, 2 and 3 circles - video. Singing an alphabet song (video/photo optional).

- Letters from the state of Lad (short video responses to each letter, reflecting the very essence), with disabilities - photos are possible.

- History of Music:

participation in 2 concerts during the current academic year is mandatory.

Please note that your videos are publicly available, otherwise the diary will not be checked.

The diary is filled out either every month, or during the school year, or at the end of the school year. The deadline for filling out and submitting the diary is September 1 of the next school year. No matter what time the diary is filled, in any case, it should reflect all the main points of the plans.

If the student did not have time to complete the plan, then the plan is transferred to the next academic year.

Attention!

The preparatory level "С" is mandatory for everyone, no matter what level of training the student is.
If a student has already studied music and can play and read music, then he can play a repertoire of his level.
Prep is needed lay the foundation! Something that has never been in traditional learning: the relationship of lines and spaces with keys, an approach to develop music ear, interactive games, etc.
