Nominee today: Melody, 4-year-old, USA

Nominee today: Melody, 4-year-old, USA
Dear Melody, your parents gave you absolutely right name! You are just 4 year old girl, but you play like a little concert pianist! It is hard to believe that you just play piano for 4 months! We enjoyed your performance big time! You have great pianist posture, curved fingers, wonderful coordination, proper technique. You make sounds with different shades and managed to turn notes into music.

This is wonderful to have a gift like that and very responsibly. Now you may become a music advocate and convince many of your pears to start learning how to play piano and read music! You may convince them by sitting and performing for them! Many children have no clue that they CAN learn how to play piano and it is easy and fun. You DO! You may teach them to play simple songs and show, how to keep hands and fingers properly.

We know that you already started sight-reading the notes and do not like to make mistakes, when you are learning. We have to share some very important information with you about mistakes. In our program we LOVE mistakes. Mistakes are GOOD. We have Mr.Oops and spider, the little dwarf, who show up every time, when we do something wrong and they are very likable and even charismatic! Without mistakes there is no learning. The same with pain. Without it we don't know, what to heal. One don't make mistake who doesn't learn. This is that simple!

We enjoyed listening all of your pieces! Hellene Hiner's favorite is Radetsky March! It is one of the most difficult pieces in Favorite Classics 1 Album. There are 2 parts in the piece that is very challenging and take a lot of work. After learning them it takes tons of time to make them as fluent as less challenging parts. You did a wonderful job in blending these parts together and create and excellent songs' flow without slowing down. This is already a professional skill and we are very proud of you that you learn it!

We love you and looking forward to help with your learning experience to further develop your skills and music talent. We are issuing you a certificate of participation in our Second International Recital.
We also sending you a free T-shirt with nomination 'Melody, our little star of great performance!'

Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner and Soft Mozart team

Nominee today: Alin, 4-year-old, Romania

Dear Alin,
Thank you very much for participating in our recital! We enjoyed watching you playing 'Hot Cross Buns' using both hands. Your coordination between right and left hands is perfect! Wen you play a chord in left hand and a key from melody in right, you hit them with no delay! It means that you corpus callosum building more and more neuron pathways between your right and left hemispheres and you brain is growing day by day making you very smart! We can't wait to hear from your mom after checking your corpus callosum with your doctors! Our observation shows that you control each finger of both hands perfectly well, much above average! :woohoo:

We also notice the following skills that you have by watching all of your videos:
1. You have excellent ear for music. When you play, you follow the lead of a song. Music in your head!
2. You have great focus and ability to concentrate. I noticed that sounds of music is dominating in you mind, when you practice piano: when your little brother is making louder sounds or mom talks to you, you don't loose your attention and keep playing.
3. You developed a perfect pitch. Your mom showed a new videos to me, where you play Guess Key with no stickers on piano keys. It became obvious to me.
4. More over, you apply you feeling of the pitch to a structure of piano keys layout. It shows us that you connect our perception with a LOGIC - such connection is extremly important in learning process and all the genius are having it! :woohoo:
5. The video, where you were sight-reading Nursery Songs was our favorite! We especially loved how did you read 'Jack and Jill' on presentation 2. There was a Fa# and you were trying to find it by following animation hints. After spontaneous finding of the black key you played the piece all the way through correctly, placing Fa# accurately!!! :woohoo: It means that you have excellent learning tool imbedded in your brain: you are fast learner with great short and long time memory perfectly tuned for future academic success!
We love you and impressed by you big time! We are sending a certificate and a free T-shirt for you with the nomination: 'To A Wonderful MIND!'
Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner and Soft Mozart team

Nominee today: Artyom, 5-year-old

Dear Artyom,
Congratulations on you second Soft Mozart Graduation Recital! Time pass very quickly. You grew up a lot since the last year. If to consider that we remember you since you were 2 year old and won our Perpetual Soft Mozart version for playing 'Ode to Joy', you are with Soft Mozart for the most of your life! :woohoo:

Here what we had noticed about your development:
We like your overall piano technique development very much. You were playing very difficult pieces for your age from Favorite Classic 2. You played all the pieces bu heart, with a flow and good coordination and hands balance.

1. In the Hall of the Mountain King. This is a challenging piece for both hands coordination. You did a great job playing with both hands! We noticed that sometimes you were playing 'wrong' but matching notes. It means that your ears are developed enough to improvise. Great skill for future composing too! Wonderful job!

2. Bach Bourre - again, you were very good in balancing right and left hand. Speed of the piece is perfect. You developed the ability to play legato, non legato and staccato. This piece is challenging rhythmically and you did good job keeping steady beat. Great result for 5 year old boy!

3. Fur Elise by Beethoven - this piece we loved the best, especially at the beginning. You were sound like a real pianist on stage! It was even hard to believe that you playing a keyboard - not a real piano. Bravo! We enjoyed your work!

Artyom! Keep working hard on your piano! This is skill for life! We would suggest you to master your earned pieces with our http://softmozart.com/forum/55-teaching-videos.html
Download the videos of the pieces that you learned and practice them with metronome and without. Videos will help you to make your performance even better, because there you will see the correct fingers and hear more nuances.

We are going to send you a Diploma and a T-shirt 'Level 2 graduate'. Please, check, if you have all the credits in Academy before June 24th to prepare all the documents and send it your way!

With love,
Hellene Hiner and Soft Mozart team,

Nominee today: Ariella, 5-year-old

Dear Ariella, we had wonderful time watching your recital videos. It is hard to believe that you started piano lessons very recently. You make a great progress on developing your piano skills! All the pieces that you played were having excellent flow, we didn't see any struggles or slow downs that most piano beginners have, nice speed and properly developed technique and posture. It seems like you were working with a professional or/and with our teaching videos! You played all the pieces by heart and your repertoire is large enough for a little concert. ;) Great performance!

Please, play for your pears as much as you can and tell them about Soft Mozart! We think that your performance may convince a lot of children and their parents to start learning music and piano. Only people, who learned how to play piano can really appreciate great performance and talents. So, we invite you to be an advocate for Soft Mozart, because you play piano beautifully! You and piano is like a one unite!

It would be really nice to consider having digital piano in the close future to take your skills to the next level and to be able to work with weighted keys and different piano touch.

For now, we want to say that we are very impressed with your performance and proud of you! We are going to issue you a Diploma for the First Level graduate and a T-shirt with nomination 'I graduated the 1st Level'
Please, ask your parents to check, if all the credits are in place for our documents and gift be sent your way before 24th of June.

We are looking forward teaching you and seeing your progress with us!

Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner and Soft Mozart team

Nominee today: Olesya, 5-year-old, Ukraine

Dear Olesya,
Thank you very much for participating in our recital! Your song of Kabalevsky 'The clowns' is not easy for beginners, especially of your age, but you did a good job practicing and performing it! It is ok, if the performance was not 'perfect' - our life is a recital and you always can improve your performance. The most important is to want to improve!

And you actually do! We went to your mom channels and found a lot of videos with you. You made a tremendous progress for the past school year. You started with Soft Mozart in 2012 with simple pieces and end up playing 'Kalinka'!

This is huge step forward! A lot of work for little girl like you! Double notes, chords... We saw you playing the piece for your peers in Kinder Garden. It wonderful! We also saw you helping your piano teacher to provide her Master Class and did really great job playing many piano pieces for the crowed of piano teachers. You are very brave girl! We were very proud of you, when was watching this video! ;)
We also saw you Christmas performance. You were the biggest light of your home during last holidays.
We are very impressed with your accomplishments and going to send you a certificate of participation in our recital and a free T-shirt with the nomination: 'Olesya, light of piano playing in your hands'

Remember, we love you and looking forward to see your future progress!

Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner and Soft Mozart team

Nominee today: Sai, 5-year-old, UK

Dear Sai,
Congratulations on our second recital with us! Last year you were a little girl and played Introductory songs - this year you play the pieces from the First Level: Happy Cowboy, Ode to Joy, Old Mac Donald and Jack and Jill (with Fa#!!!). Wonderful job! We like your rhythm, songs' flow and singing Solfeggio while playing.
We also know that you worked really hard on your Soft Mozart assignments and credits.
It seems like you develop excellent ear for music and coordination between the right and left hands! You learned the basic theory and exercises.
When we watched your video of Old Mac Donals, we saw you mostly using index finger. It is because the piece has to be fast and rhythmical. You managed! We don't know many children of your age who can do the same so easily!
You are also a very talented and patient girl! You can work really hard and keep your attention for a long time. It is great skill to have! We are very impressed by seeing this.
Now it is going to be very helpful, if you will visit our TEACHING VIDEOS page and check the same pieces to use the correct fingers. When you play 'Happy Cowboy', you already start doing this! Please, start using all of your fingers, because Mr. Index is complaining that he has to work for all other fellows! Let's make all 10 working as a great team together!
We are going to send you a certificate for participation in our recital and a T-shirt of 'Second Level Graduate' after viewing all the credits in our Academy.
We love you and looking forward to see your future progress with us!
Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner and Soft Mozart team
