Nominee today: Nikol, 8-year-old, Israel

Dear Nikol,
Thank you very much for participating in our recital! We enjoyed your performance very much and think that you are excellent piano player!

You performed all of your pieces on acoustic piano by heart and your playing was very thoughtful, artistic and with no struggle!
We loved your posture, hands and fingers movements. You have very strong and fast fingers and you have great potential to play very advanced music in future!

In Spindler's Sonatina you showed to us good piano technique, velocity of fine motor skiils, great both hands coordination, advanced balance of staccato and legato, phrasing, nuances. The beats of the piece and rhythm is accurate and steady for the most of the time. Great job for a student of your age!

You listen to a melody, when it is being played by right and after that by left hand. You keep very good coordination between melody and chords, your ending of both parts of Sonatina are very in style and graceful.

Kabalevsky ' The Clown' is also very good. You have good motor movement of te left hand, that works like a little clock. The short phrases in your right hand with combination of legato and staccato of the last notes are very artistic. You also managed to combine different movements of the right and left hands very well. It is not easy task as it seems!

We are very pleased with your progress and going to send you a certificate of participation in our recital. We love you and going to send you a T-shirt with the nomination ' Nikol, your performance was great!'

We are looking forward to see you playing more piano pieces and to grow with our Soft Mozart Academy for many years ahead.

Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner and Soft Mozart team

Nominee today: Christie, 8-year-old, Cyprus

Dear Christie,
We were very happy to watch your videos of our Second Recital and compare them to your last year performance. Such great progress had you done for the past 12 months! We are so happy to see it!

If last year you played Introductory songs and Nikolayev's Etude, this year you play much more advanced pieces. We noticed a HUGE improvement in your fine motor skills development, piano technique, music memory, music ear and rhythm. If last year you were struggling a little with more advance piece ( Etude), this year you play more difficult piano pieces with ease and good speed.

We are also very glad that you play many different pieces now. You have good piano posture, very independent and flexible fingers, relaxed shoulders... This year your performance is also more artistic!

Study No 5 by Berkovich - we liked the dialog between right and left hands. Coordination between right and left hands is precise and balanced.

Contredance - nice speed, goof phrasing, in 1st and 3rd part the rhythm is very accurate. Middle part needs a little more work, but overall the piece is challenging for keeping beats.

Etude - good sound, phrasing, rhythm.

Ragtime Magic - artistic, stylish, good speed, nice ending! Easy going piano technique. Great job!

March - our favorite! You managed to maintain the same speed even in the challenging parts of the piece! It is very hard, because beginning of the song is easy for coordination, but some parts have many difficulties: polyphony, juggling melody. You made it with no struggle. GREAT JOB!

For that we are sending a certificate of participation in our recital and a T-shirt with nomination ' Christie: great progress in learning piano'

We love you and looking forward to hear more piano pieces from you! We also very thankful to your teacher Irina, who prepared you to this recital and helped to make this performance sparkle!

Nominee today: Anna, 9-year-old, Cyprus

Dear Anna,
Thank you very much for keeping up with your piano lessons and making such great progress. During last recital you were at the very beginning stage and played Introductory songs. This year you play original classical pieces, sight-read sheet music on 5th and 6th presentation and do not make any mistake! It is not easy to read music on 6th, because every little error - whether you didn't press the right note or didn't hold a note long or short enough can stop you right in the middle of the song! But you are so accurate and precise that it never happened! Remarkable job!

You have right piano posture, great hands and independent fingers and your piano technique improved a lot since your last recital.

Both ways - good songs' flow, polyphony is accurate and pleasant for ears, you play the piece artistically. It would be great to practice the piece with metronome in the future, but even now the piece sounds really good.

Lullaby - you got 3/4 about right. Phrasing is logical and good. We like your combination of legato and staccato notes.

Skipping Rope - good performance. I would suggest to play the piece with metronome at the same speed and increase the speed gradually. Double notes are very accurate. We like how do you listen and hear music that you play. It is amazing how you focus on the music! Wonderful skill for piano playing.

Yellow Rose of Texas - Hellene Hiner's favorite. This is not rhythmically easy piece. It also have a lot of challenges for coordination. You played the piece excellently! :woohoo: The flow, speed, rhythm, character were all there! Congratulations!

Anna, we love you very much and appreciate your hard work big time! We are going to send you a certificate of participation in our recital and a T-shirt with the nomination ' Great progress in playing piano!'

We are looking forward to see your success and hear your new, even more challenging pieces!

Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner and Soft Mozart team

Nominee today: Lisa, 10-year-old, Cyprus

Dear Lisa,
Thank you very much for participating in our Second Soft Mozart recital. We enjoyed your videos very much!
Your progress in piano learning is very remarkable. After Introductory songs and 1st level pieces from Favorite Classics 1 you progressed to authentic piano pieces such as Mazurka or Fuer Elise for example.

You memorized all of your pieces and have enough for little concert. We hope that you will share the music with your friends and they will enjoy your performance as much as we do!

You piano skills became stronger, better, more sophisticated and we can say that you really love to play piano! It is so good for your development and we see that music making became part of your life!

Маzurka - you played the piece very artistically, didn't slow down in more challenging parts and made a piece solid and romantic.

Study by Cherny - you played the piece very well! Studies are for improving and developing your piano technique. Therefore we suggest you to keep playing this piece gradually increasing its speed and improving fingering.

Winter Tale - you interpret the piece in happy and festive mood. It was interesting approach. :)

Fuer Elise - you made it sparkle! :woohoo: Very nice, fluent, vibrant. Correct fingers, just right speed, accurate rhythm. Great job!

Minuet - we liked the way your hands 'talking to each other' - you are listening to the polyphony and understand how it works. Fingers also all in the right places. We hope that you will learn second part of the piece too, because it also very beautiful!

Lisa, we love your progress and going to send you a certificate of participation in our recital and a T-shirt with the nomination: 'Lisa, thank you for the wonderful performance!'

We are looking forward to see your new videos and help you with your learning success in our Academy!

Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner and Soft Mozart team

Nominee today: Laura, 13-year-old, Chile

Dear Laura,

I am going to write in English to you and hope someone (or Google) will translate my words to Spanish for you.
Thank you very much for participating in our recital!
When I saw your video first time, I thought that you had been played piano at least for 3 years! But your piano teacher Nelia wrote to me that you just started 3 months ago! It is one of the best progress that we saw so far and such progress makes you a very special student!

It means that you have a gift for music. It also means that our Academy, your teacher and you - we all have big responsibilities for your gift and we have yo work very hard to develop it and bring it to the next level.

You played a piece from Harry Potter in excellent speed, almost didn't slow down in more difficult sections and even made all the double notes fly! :woohoo: Your coordination of right and left hands is excellent and your fingers are fast and independent.

We also like your 'Titanic' piece, which is way easier then 'Harry Potter' piece. You don't have any struggles playing it. It means that you are ready for more challenging piano pieces.

We would love to see you playing classical pieces and looking forward to hear your future performances.

We love you and sending you a certificate of participation in our recital and a free T-shirt with the words: 'Laura, great progress in playing piano in 3 months!'

Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner and Soft Mozart team

Nominee today: Liliana, 13-year-old, USA

Dear Liliana,
It is hard to believe that you just started with Soft Mozart! You created beautiful music - not just notes! For every beginner it is a very gradual process to build eye/hand coordination, independence of each hand and each finger with ability to coordinate them all at the same time, to play pieces rhythmically, with correct music flow... There are a lot of skills to build before we can ask for artistic polishing. But you managed to do everything! We could say that somehow, before you even started learning piano with the Soft Mozart you already had developed an ear for music and have great inner music perception. Our program just unlocked your hidden talent and let yout self-expression flourish.

We loved all the pieces that you play! The sounds that you make go straight from your heart!

We have to confess that 'Fuer Eliese' is a very popular piano piece and we heard it many, many times. You managed to surprise us with your interpretation! Wonderful job!

Our other favorite is the "The Thorny One" by F Couperin. The nuances that you make, tempo, phrasing - everything is very organically and mature.

Liliana, we think that you can be a great Soft Mozart advocate and spread good news to teenagers about our invention. Many youngsters of your age have no idea how much they can achieve in just 3-4 months. Your playing proof that A LOT. This is life lasting skill - to play piano and to read music. We are very glad that you joined our family and proved that the system works miracle with teens.

We love your progress and going to send you a certificate of participation and a T-shirt with the nomination: 'Liliana, a wonderful interpreter of classical music'.

Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner and Soft Mozart team
