Nominee today: Erci, 5-year-old, UK

Dear Erci, we learned about you from our forum and loved your pictures and videos about your lessons that Mrs. Olga show us! You just started learning in February and made a wonderful progress: from 0 to playing 3 piano pieces using both hands!

We enjoyed watching your performance a lot! First of all because you developed your hands and fingers coordination. Second, because you are playing very interesting piano pieces: 'Drummer', 'Let's Boogie', 'Ode to Joy'. Your hands are tiny, but you already can get 2 keys with a large interval! You have good sense of rhythm and following up with beats. It is excellent skill to have! You also developed good eye/hands coordination and mostly look at notes - not at your piano keys.

We also very proud of you that you managed to pass all the credits and now officially graduated Level 1 of our Academy. We also like your teacher Olga very much, because she introduced us to you and shared with us how great
you are as a student.

We are going to send you a Diploma of the First Level and a T-shirt 'I graduated 1 Level'. Please, keep doing your great job on piano and continue to practice. We can't wait to see your new videos!

Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner and Soft Mozart team

Nominee today:
Katarina, 5-year-old, Israel

Dear Katarina,
People use to say: time fly fast. Your piano development is much faster indeed then time! :woohoo:

Just a year ago we were so surprised to hear, how you performed 'In the Hall of the Mountain King and Beethoven's Ecosais and waged at each note, because you were just a little 4-year-old girl and music pieces were designed for students of second and third graders. Now you play even more advanced pieces and we don't see any struggles or signs of piano beginner any more! Meaning that soon enough you are going to be a great stage musician that is able to win different contests!

We are very proud of you and your development and many children around the globe is now looking at your achievements and wanting to play like you one day! Keep up the great work that you are doing!

One day, when you will be winning piano competitions, please, do not forget to mention that you learned to play piano with Soft Mozart. People still need to know about this program and we have to educate them that it is not just for little beginners, but for everyone to master skills to play piano and read music.

We also thank you mom very much for being such a great teacher for you! Many moms on this forum now are learning from her as well.

Here is our short notes about your recital pieces:

Garden: excellent flow, nuances, double notes is very accurate. Character of the piece is submitted!

The wild horsemen - fast enough, fluent, no slowdowns in technically challenging parts, clean technique, rhythm is steady, sound is intelligent and nice.

Bach March in D - very steady, solid, sound is very 'Bach-like', speed and rhythm just right, the music flow is consistent, great ending! Brava!

Tchaikovsky Italian Song - melody stands out as it should, accompaniment is light and balanced, character is transparent. I loved the ending, when you kept Mi and added pedal with chords. Excellent!

Debussy Petit Nègre is my favorite! You play it fast, jazzy. You manage technique and character go hand in hand together, to place accents in right places. Your syncopation is very accurate. Super!

Prokofiev March - good tempo, grace notes are not very easy to play, but you managed then! Overall, great job!

We think that you are very talented and sending a certificate of participation in our recital and T-shirt with nomination 'Star of Soft Mozart recital'.

We love you and looking forward to see more videos with your performances!

Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner and Soft Mozart team

Our nominee today: Romie, 5-year-old, Israel

Dear Romie,

Thank you very much for participating in our recital! We enjoyed watching your videos and liked your performance very much!

You played your piano pieces on acoustic piano by memory with great posture, curved fingers and strong and though relaxed hands. The rhythm of 'Blue Danube' piece was accurate and what was the most amazing that your little hands reached all the chords in the left hand and you played them very deeply. Very nice work! The second piece was excellent for a beginner level too!

We like you choice of piano pieces and want to thank your piano teacher Lubov Yanpolsky to this recital. You have a wonderful development and we anticipating that next semester you will shine again wit more songs and achievements.

We would like to see you in our forum, because we are having a lot of fun activities here that can help a girl like you to get more friends who learn to play piano and can appreciate your hard work.

We love you and sending you a certificate of participation in our recital and a free T-shirt 'Romie, we love your performance!'

Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner and Soft Mozart team

Nominee today: June, 6-year-old, USA

Dear June,

Thank you for sharing your video with us! It seems like you play a piano piece that you had learned before you got Soft Mozart.
It means that you have genuine interest in learning how to play piano! It is not easy to learn piano pieces with Soft Mozart: without seeing the notes you have to play by ear and memorize music.

We see, how you placed your hands over certain piano keys and try to keep them stationary in order to play all the correct keys.

We are very glad that now you will be able to start practicing with our program! Soon enough you will find it very easy to move your habds around the keyboard without fastening each finger to a key! We are anticipating hearing you playing piano pieces with both hands in the very close future!

For now, we send you a certificate of participation in our graduation recital and a T-shirt with the nomination : 'June, our hope and joy!'

We love you and looking forward to see your new videos with piano performances!

Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner and Soft Mozart team

Nominee today: Blaise, 6-year-old, USA

Dear Blaise,

Thank you very much for being such great student and dedicated piano learner! We enjoyed reading posts about your progress and were very proud of your progress!

Your development in piano laying is amazing! You now play several piano pieces of the first level by heart and with no computer! :woohoo:

Here what we had notice about your development so far. You have an exceptional music memory. It is wonderful gift to have! The 'Ode to Joy' piece from Piano Classics 1 is an indicator for that! It is confusing piece, where you can easily confuse ending of one music sentence with another.
You didn't have any struggle with this! It means that you are ready even for more challenges!

Fine motor skills and coordination: we think your development here is also very successful! You manage your hands and fingers very well and have very good songs flow and balance between right and left hands. Great job!

We would recommend to start playing the piano pieces with metronome and especially with TEACHING VIDEOS. They will help you to develop sense of music beats and rhythm. You also may enjoy playing 'butterfly game' - keeping the butterflies on the screen before pressing next set of keys. This is what we call LEGATO - smooth playing. We will be happy to help you with this in our 1 on 1 Skype lesson, if you want.

Overall we enjoyed your performance and think that you have great potential! Keep up your hard work and share more of your videos and stories!

We love you and sending you a certificate of participation in our recital. We are looking forward to see your graduation charts to give you First Level diploma.

We are going to send you a T-shirt with nomination: 'Blaise: Great Start in Learning Piano'

Sincerely,
Hellene Hiner and Soft Mozart team
