Dear Manda!

Thank you very much for participating in our recital, preparing your kids and being such supportive and caring client! We appreciate you being with us very much!

As a mom with 3 kids you made amazing progress in learning piano. It is incredible how much did you accomplished!

Here what do we think about your progress so far:

1. Accompaniment (‘Hot Cross Buns’ and ‘Jingle bells’) – excellent! When kids decided to go slow at the last phrase of ‘Jingle Bells’, you instantly slowed down for them. We LOVE you family ensemble! In fact, one of the main reason the Soft Mozart was created is to return music making back to families for spending more quality time together.

2. Solo. Thank you very much for choosing such beautiful piano pieces!
We liked your ‘Morning Mood’. We liked the song’s flow; you were phrasing the piece very well. Great job!

‘Polovetzian Dance’ - the finger logic in this piece is very confusing, but you figure everything out pretty successfully. The tempo of the piece is just right. It is hard to believe that you just started learning piano – so many things you figure out on your own!

‘Laughing song’ – for some reason you called it ‘Rock group’ :P - we LOVED it! Even the way you played it by memory and added couple of extra chords (just in case! ;) ) We know that you did it for the ‘song’s speed and flow’ sake. That’s the spirit! :)

3. Music Alphabet. Oh, boy, it was REALLY fast! Great job! Now we understand, why are you initiating contest to say Note Alphabet in seconds

You met almost all the requirements for the 1st level. Please, submit the videos with exercises and we will send all of you the certificates of 1st Level graduation.

We would like to nominate you as the most active and supportive parent of Soft Mozart in 2012!

We are looking forward to hear more about your progress in learning and teaching your kids piano and music!

Dear SAI,

Thank you very much for being such a wonderful student and learning so much in such short time! We remember sending you Soft Mozart program very recently - and you already know so many different songs and exercises, you sing Solfeggio and know the notes order. We watched ALL of your videos and were very proud of you and your achievements! We think that you are very beautiful, smart , you have great voice and you love music and music loves you. We also loved your royal blue dress with sparkles. :)

Exercises. ‘White cat and black cat’ – great job! All the right fingers and nobody was even helping you.

‘Do Major’
– we liked it a lot, especially when you were playing backwards, because you didn’t break the general 'line' and moved from thumb to another finger (3rd or 4th) smoothly.

Theory – all the videos were pretty good, but the most amazing was a ‘theory quiz’ provided by your mom, when you have to quickly say the name of the note next or before different notes. Not many kids can do what you did so quickly and accurate! It seems like you learned the music notes’ lay out and it will help you in reading music for the rest of your life! Great job!

Piano performance.

‘Ode to Joy’ – we like enthusiasm, character that you created and singing. It was wonderful performance! Also we noticed that you were using DIFFERENT FINGERS for different music notes. Thank you!

‘Hot Cross Buns’ – sight-reading – came out pretty good! We like it a lot!

‘Alphabet Song’ – sight-reading – good job! It is easy to listen to your playing and sing the song with you, because you don’t stop, don’t get lost and play very artistically.

‘Jingle Bells’ – sight-reading, singing – it is not easy to read the notes, play them and sing at the same time, but you did it. Wow!

‘Ode to Joy’ – sight-reading from ORIGINAL SCORE and singing – what can we say? WOW! WOW! WOW! It is amazing! We loved it!

‘French Song’ – by memory – with and without singing - excellent!

SAI, you passed all the requirements for the 1st Level and we are going to send a certificate to you and a T-shirt to remember your first piano Soft Mozart recital ever!

We are looking forward to see your progress and new achievements. Let music bring you a lot of joy, happiness and FUN in life!

Om, please, email us the address and size for the T-shirt to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Dear Rachel,

Thank you very much for participating in our First International Recital!
We enjoyed your playing very much! You didn’t just meet all the requirements, but went beyond them big time! When we were watching every video, we were very proud of you and your achievements.
Here are some highlights, what we loved the most about your performance:

1. You played all of your exercises with both hands, but when you played chords, you were managing 6 keys at the same time. It is awesome! Your fingers and hands are very well coordinated!

2. Not only did you do a good job by playing chords, but you were also counting!

3. The songs that you played are very complicated and difficult for your age, but you learned, memorize them and performed very well!

4. When you were playing ‘Polka’, we noticed that you were singing Solfeggio alone with your playing. It is very awesome, because when you do it, Solfeggio promotes your ear, voice and music memory.

5. In ‘March’ of Shostakovich were a lot of flats and sharps, but you handled them pretty easily. In this piece also right and left hands sometimes are equally important and melody goes from one hand to another. You managed to handle that!

6. You were sigh –reading music on the 5th presentation with real notes and barely made any mistake reading all the pieces from ‘Nursery 1’ Album. Wow! Great job!

7. You easily said the entire Note Alphabet and didn’t think twice about sequences of notes.

Rachel, you graduated the First – ‘DO’ Level and did it with Honor as our A+ student! We are going to send a T-shirt for you and a Certificate of graduation.

Please, keep up such a wonderful job!

Dear Pei Lin!

We appreciate you being with Soft Mozart very much! Even before the International Piano Recital came to the picture you were not just our loyal customer, but dedicated learner, who managed to make great progress in music making, music reading and music teaching in your family!

You always were very disciplined mom and your daughter Rachel as a very active child learned how to focus, to work hard and to achieve outstanding results in music because of you and your determination to make music part of your family life. It is priceless indeed!

We enjoyed watching your videos and want to highlight the following achievements:
1. Hanon #1 – good speed, steady rhythm, stronger fingers. Great job
2. Chords – good coordination and accurate eye
3. Do Major and Chromatic Scale – even, fluent, confident performance
4. ‘Rock Group’ – rhythmical, excellent song’s flow
5. Shostakovich ‘March’ – wow! – This is a piece from a different league! Excellent speed, al the reasonable finger numbers, good phrasing
6. Polka – you play non legato and staccato, have great coordination of both hands.
7. We noticed that you memorized many piano pieces: boogie, Nursery songs, Favorite Classics. It is very good for you and kids to have such extensive repertoire. This is great!
8. Your Note Alphabet fast and confident.

We couldn’t find any information about your sight-reading. Could you, please, advice? Did you sight-read? What Album(s)? What is the score?

When we’ll receive this information, we’ll be able to issue Certificate of the First Level graduation and T-shirt to you.

We are looking forward to see your new achievements!
