Dear Ilya! Thank you very much for your participation in our First Recital! We liked all of your videos and your performance very much: «Hot Cross Buns», «French song», «Jingle Bells», «New Year Tree» - all of the songs sounds wonderful! We noticed your ability to be gathered and stay focused. You have lots of pieces memorized!

You know, what did we like the most? You have an excellent stamina on stage and you already learned how to think with music images. You brought something individual into each music piece: created little ending to ‘Hot Cross Buns’ and added few notes to the ‘French Song’ ; you also assembled ‘New Year Tree’ your way and managed not to jumble the chords and even didn’t get confused in the process! It tells us that music started sounding inside your mind and you starting to understand, how it all works and organized.

Many kids are afraid to improvise and change a note in music text. Especially the kids, who never been exposed to our program ‘Soft Mozart’. But you are not intimidated at all! And this is great! Maybe, in close future you would like to create your own music and improvise professionally. We think that you have some good aptitude for it!

This summer, at the beginning of the next week, in our community we are going to learn how to pick the right chords to different melodies and even create different melodies. We think that it is something that you will truly enjoy!

Большое спасибо тебе за участие в нашем Первом Академическом Концерте. Нам очень понравились все твои видео и твое исполнение пьесок: «Булочки», «Французская песенка», «Jingle Bells», «Ёлочка» - все прозвучало просто здорово! Мы обратили внимание на твое умение собираться, сосредотачиваться. Ты выучил наизусть столько пьес!

Знаешь, что нам понравилось больше всего? Ты обладаешь прекрасной сценической выдержкой и уже научился мыслить музыкой. В каждую пьесу ты внес что-то свое: придумал свою концовку к «Булочкам» или добавил пару нот в «Французской песенке» ; по-своему скомпоновал «Маленькой ёлочке» и при этом не перепутал аккорды и не растерялся! Это говорит о том, что музыка зазвучала у тебя в голове и ты начинаешь понимать, как она устроена.

Многие ребята боятся играть «от себя», боятся перепутать ноты. Особенно те, кто не начинал с нашей программой «Софт Моцарт». А ты не боишься! И это очень замечательно! Может быть, через некоторое время ты вообще захочешь научиться сочинять и импровизировать! Мы думаем, что у тебя есть к этому хорошие задатки!

Этим летом, буквально на следующей неделе, на нашем форуме мы начнем учиться подбору аккордов к мелодиям и сочинению всяких мелодий. Думаю, именно тебе это больше всех понравится!

Congratulations. I totally agree! We have a future composer when I watched you recital entry's I didn't realize you were only 6! Wow, great stuff. I loved the individuality in your music.
I also learnt something from watching it. My daughter also creates her own melodies at times. I will let her be creative interpreting her pieces at times now. Thank you for sharing your talent.

Nina, thank you very much for your performances! First that we liked the most is your duet with your little sister Polinochka. You were very skilled to follow her singing, catching ecery sound and sometimes having to play faster or slower accordingly with little girl singing. This is the skill that only professional accompanists develop and many people trying to learn it for years. It seems like you naturally have such ability from the very beginning of your learning journey. It is very cool!

Your performance was very easy going, fun and free spirited. You played all of your pieces and with notes and by heart. You have good feel for music, excellent coordination and good music ear. You are going to place much more complicated and difficult pieces in the close future – we see it coming. You already managed to play legato, non-legato and sometimes even staccato! We hope that you also don’t forget to practice your piano exercises for making piano technique even more developed and strong. You have great potential. We see that you like piano lessons a lot and having a lot of fun practicing!

We are sending a certificate of participation in our First International Piano Recital your way alone with T-shirt – memorabilia about your participation. Polina and you – the best family duet of our recital!
We also want to thank your little sister Polinochka for the help assisting your performance. Polina, you sang ‘Hot Cross Buns’ so wonderfully that many people liked it even though they don’t speak Russian! Нина, большое спасибо тебе за все твои выступления! Первое, что нам очень понравилось, - это дуэт с твоей 3-х летней сестричкой Полиночкой. Ты очень умело подхватывала мелодию, замедляла или ускоряла свой аккомпанемент, чтобы подстроиться под сестричку. Настоящие профессиональный аккомпаниаторы так всегда делают и многим этому надо учиться. А у тебя получилось с первых же шагов! Это здорово!

Ты очень легко, весело и свободно сыграла все свои пьески наизусть и по нотам. У тебя есть и хорошая музыкальность, и отличная координация и хороший слух. Мы уверены, что в скором времени ты будешь играть значительно более сложные и техничные пьесы. Ты уже владеешь и легато, и нон легато и даже временами стаккато! Надеемся, что упражнения для развития техники ты тоже играешь. У тебя очень хороший потенциал. Видно, что ты занимаешься с большим удовольствием!

Dear Jacob,

We watched your progress in learning piano with a big spoon of amusement! At the beginning of your learning journey, when you tried to play the instrument in robber gloves, we thought that you are a future aeronaut and preparing yourself for long space travels. We thought that you are learning how to play instrument in a ‘space suit’.

Thank you very much for playing the recital piece with your bare hands now!

We watched you singing Note Alphabet to chickens and then decided that most likely, you are preparing yourself to be a scientist and may be in future you will study, how music helps birds to lay more eggs.

Your creativity in life is very amazing and we think that one way or another you will make any profession sparkling! You are smart, unique, creative and very bright boy.

What is important – you developed very important skill to focus and keep your concentration during your piano lessons. This is the most important for any profession! We see you using different fingers more and more often, when you play a song. This is great! Using all of your fingers is very good for your development. Please, keep doing this!

You are trying to name all the notes that you are playing. We LOVE that! It develops your memory and will help to read music in future. And you memorized ‘Hot Cross Buns’!!! It is very good accomplishment considering your age! We are very, very proud of you! We also noticed that you are developing your singing voice and your ‘Mi’ and ‘Fa’ are the most accurate.

Keep doing such great job! It will help you to develop your music ear, music memory and will help you to teach roosters to sing in tune in the morning and not just that… It is very important to have a good singing voice, if you will decide to become an actor or comedian one day!
